I specialize in illustration that integrates traditional and digital art together to create works using primarily line. My work evokes emotion using bold lines that contrasts the traditionally precise Eastern imagery and subject matter. My works suggests frailty and softness but in the same breath is often used to contrast hard and bold swaths of color. I prefer using black and white to highlight my use of line, playing between graphic pattern and texture. I’m greatly influenced by eastern culture and that is shown in my works and subject matter.
